The Academy of Management and Administration (WSZiA) in Opole is the first non-public university in the region. Although WSZiA is a modern university, it has its traditions. The Academy has operated continuously since 1996 and occupies a prominent place in the rankings of universities. WSZiA is number 1 according to Wprost, Newsweek, Polityka, Perspektywy and Rzeczpospolita magazines.
The wide offer of our university includes as many as 11 programs of study and more than 60 different majors. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of the labour market. Plenty of the specializations offered by the university are a unique offer which cannot be found in any other university in the region. WSZiA also has a wide range of postgraduate studies.
The Academy offers education at three faculties – Faculty of Economics, Pedagogical Faculty and Faculty of Social Sciences. The programs of undergraduate studies includes Management, Economics, Logistics, Education, Social Work, Administration, and Finance and accounting. As part of graduate studies, students can choose one of more than 20 majors at 2 programs.
A wide range of postgraduate studies includes such fields as Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Manager of tourism and sports, Logistics and Crisis Management, Professional and social consulting, Care and educational pedagogy, Pedagogical training and Elementary education with pedagogical therapy.
The Academy of Management and Administration in Opole teaches at full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate level, offering its students a very good accommodation base perfectly adapted to the educational process and consisting of three buildings located in the heart of Opole. The school offers professional apprenticeship for its students in reputable companies and institutions.
Apart from the rich theoretical knowledge, students will gain experience and necessary skills for future employment. Didactic classes are conducted by highly qualified staff and practitioners from the business environment. The most outstanding Polish athletes, e.g. Mariusz Wlazły, Bartłomiej Bonk, Paweł Zatorski, Michał Winiarski, Marcin Możdżonek and many other study at our academy.
WSZiA provides a wide range of scholarships and financial support. The best full time students can be exempt from tuition fees for the entire period of study. In each academic year, more than 60% of part-time students of WSZiA receive scholarships. Students receive social and research scholarships, rector scholarships, as well as scholarships for the disabled and funding for accommodation and travel to college, and financial aid.
